Google Maps v6.5.1 & Facebook v1.9.0 With NO Extra Shortcuts (1 Icon App Drawer) Android
Requirements: Android 2.1+
Overview: Do you hate launcher spam? I do. I want my app drawer to have only ONE icon per app. Google Maps currently takes up a full row (Maps, Latitude, Places and Navigation) and the recent Facebook update brought an extra two icons (Camera and Messages) that I don't use or want.
If you prefer to have an uncluttered app drawer with only two icons instead of seven for these apps, here are their latest versions with a modified AndroidManifest.xml. Of course, all the aforementioned features are still accessible within the apps, nothing has changed except that I removed the intent-filter declarations that created the extra icons. Note that the source Google Maps app came straight from Google Play, so there's no world navigation.
Both apps were tested on my SE Xperia Ray, which runs the official Gingerbread ROM.
